Neurology: UofT Women's Brain Health Rounds: Epilepsy/Migraine/Ovarian Cycle

The purpose of the UofT Women’s Brain Health Rounds is to bring together clinicians, investigators, and basic research scientists to bridge the knowledge gaps on women’s brain health in neurology and related disciplines. Rounds will include case reports, research in progress, and clinical studies on issues affecting women’s brain health with or without concomitant diagnosis of neurological condition.

Audience: Clinicians, Research Scientists, Neurology Residents and Fellows, PhD and master’s students as well as interested public.

Learning Objectives
Inform professionals and community about:
• Current clinical pearls and basic research on women’s brain health.
• Case based evaluation of evidence-based knowledge intersecting with clinical & basic science research in women’s brain health and aging (what we know, what we are learning and what is the next step) in the context of neurological disease.
• Practical examples of knowledge translation strategies to inform clinicians, researchers, & public.
