Slamen-Fast New Initiatives in Neurology - Call for Applicants
Established by Dr. Anthony Lang in 2004, the Division of Neurology’s New Initiatives Program is a self-investment program designed to enhance the development of the academic mission of the division by providing a limited grant support for faculty to complete successfully an initial project for their career development.
How to apply
The maximum budget for each proposal is up to $20,000. The executive could make an exception to the rule in particular to projects that are slightly over budgeted.
The application consists of:
- Research Proposal (max. two pages, no attachments)
- Budget (max. one page)
- Statement of how the proposal fits with the listed priorities of the program (1/2 page).
- Please email the application as a single PDF file to the office of the DDD.
Deadline to apply is February 12, 2021 by 11:59pm.
Selected projects will be contacted by the end of March.
Successful applicants must present their project on the findings and final outcomes of the project at the McEwan-Jones/Faculty research day in December of the following year.
