Gregory Choy
Dr. Greg Choy (MD, FRCP) is a rheumatologist with the Dept. of Medicine at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre.
He graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto. After internal medicine training at the University of Saskatchewan, he obtained training in adult rheumatology and completed the Master Teacher Program at the University of Toronto.
Education is his primary academic focus. His teaching portfolio spans preclerkship, clerkship, postgraduate and continuing education. Current major teaching roles include 4th year medicine clerkship co-ordinator for SHSC, rheumatology rotation co-ordinator at SHSC and continuing education representative for rheumatology.
Crystal arthropathy (gout and calcium phosphate) is an area of particular clinical and research interest.
Aside from his clinic at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, he also sees Chinese-speaking patients in a community clinic and people from under-serviced areas via North Network Telemedicine consultation.
