Jennifer Chu
Dr. Jennifer Chu was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and made the trek to Ontario for medical school. She holds an MD from Queen's University and an MPH from the University of British Columbia. She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto and is currently a staff physician at St. Michael's Hospital. She previously held roles as the Clerkship Coordinator for Emergency Medicine at St. Michael's and as the Competence Committee Chair for the Royal Emergency Medicine Training Program prior to taking on the role as Assistant Program Director in July 2021.
Jennifer is a passionate resident advocate and educator and has interests in curriculum development, assessment and evaluation of trainees, resident wellness and mentorship.
On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is an avid golfer and tennis player and enjoys cheering for the Toronto Raptors and the Vancouver Canucks.
