Description:
The Dr. Robert Josse Fellowship in Metabolic Bone Disease provides specialty clinical training in osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases. The objectives of the fellowship are: 1. To gain expertise in the diagnosis and management of primary and secondary osteoporosis, other metabolic bone diseases (including rare genetic conditions), and disorders of calcium/phosphate metabolism. 2) To integrate quality improvement methodology into practice by improving care processes within the metabolic bone clinic. 3) To disseminate knowledge through teaching junior residents and presenting scholarly work at national/international bone meetings.
