General Internal Medicine: GIM Research Day

2021 GIM Research Day

Date: May 28th, 2021 at 12:00 – 1:30 PM
Location: Zoom

This 6th annual research event welcomes Clinicians in Quality Improvement, Teachers, Educators, Investigators, Scientists and all medical learners. The Research Day provides a forum to showcase, connect and strengthen research excellence within our vibrant division.  We hope that as many GIM and GIM-cross-appointed faculty and trainees as possible will be able to attend.

We are honoured to have Dr. Leora Horwitz, Director of the Center for Healthcare Innovation and Delivery Science at NYU Langone Health, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Horwitz was recently named an Emerging Leader by the National Academy of Medicine. Her work focuses on improving the safety and quality of healthcare delivery. Her current research focus is on transitions in care and she has developed widely used quality measures for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
