Congratulations to Kieran Quinn and Nathan Stall, trainees in the Department of Medicine's Eliott Phillipson Clinician-Scientist Training Program, who are among the recipients of this year's prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship. Valued at $150,000 over three years, the scholarship is awarded to doctoral students who demonstrate leadership and a high standard of scholarsly achievemet in graduate studies across the social sciences and humanities, natural sciences, engineering and health.
Dr. Quinn's research examines redefining care for patients with advanced non-cancerous diseases, and Dr. Stall is exploring caregiving for dementia, using administrative data to determine the population-level physical and mental health consequences.
