Dr. Yayi Huang appointed Faculty Lead – Early Career Faculty

The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that Dr. Yayi Huang has been appointed as Faculty Lead – Early Career Faculty for a two-year term beginning on November 1, 2023. 

Dr. Huang is a General Internist at Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto (U of T). She completed her undergraduate studies, medical school and General Internal Medicine residency at U of T. She went on to complete advanced training in Obstetric Medicine and completed the Department of Medicine's Master Teacher Program. 

Dr. Huang is a passionate educator and mentor in her role as a Clinician Teacher, and an avid speaker on Obstetric Medicine topics. She currently serves as the Medical Consult Lead and Obstetric Medicine Co-Education Lead at Mount Sinai Hospital. She published the Obstetric Medicine Handbook in 2021 and the Medical Consult Handbook in 2022.
