Emergency Medicine: Vice President of Medical Affairs
After 13 years as Medical Director of the Emergency Departments at UHN, Dr. Anil Chopra is stepping down to take on a new role as Vice President, Medical Affairs at UHN.
In this role, Dr. Chopra will work with the faculty, medical directors and leaders across UHN for hospital appointments, professional development, staff wellness and to promote the interdisciplinary culture defined by respect and collegiality, the highest quality in care, research and learning. In addition, Dr. Chopra has recently renewed his role as Division Director for Emergency Medicine for a second 5-year term in the Department of Medicine.
A search committee will be assembled to oversee a national search for a new Chief of the Emergency Departments at UHN.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Chopra in his new role as VP of Medical Affairs and his renewal as Division Director of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Chopra's role as VP of Medical affairs will begin on November 15, 2018.
