Thyroid Nodules

Discharge Criteria

  1. Stable in size and US characteristics
    1. For 5 years (TIRADS 3 or higher)
    2. TR 1 and TR 2 nodules typically do not require routine US follow up
  2. TSH is not low
  3. Benign biopsy (if meets indication for FNA)
  4. No compressive symptoms
  5. No familial papillary thyroid cancer
